The Tecwill history starts in 1980
The start of Tecwill began in 1980 when Meca-Kone Ltd. was established to manufacture concrete mixing plants and concrete block factory equipment. In 1990, Meca-Kone Ltd. was sold to another Finnish company and moved from its hometown of Joensuu, Finland.
In 1994, Tecwill Ltd. was founded. Many Tecwill professionals came with long experience in planning and constructing concrete mixing plants. Some of them worked earlier for Meca-Kone. Tecwill began with the development of the Cobra concrete mixing plant concept and its special installation method, which is now patented worldwide.
In the 2000s, Tecwill became an international concrete plant supplier. In 2004, Tecwill’s first subsidiary, Tecwill Polska Sp. z o.o., was established in Gdansk, Poland.
In 2008, Tecwill opened its new head office and assembly factory in Joensuu.
